There are so many ways to win at the Fish Derby, with awards for anglers of all ages and prizes for all different types of fish. The derby has plenty of family-friendly activities at the lake beyond fishing!
Good Cause
The Fish Derby is a fundraiser for the Neal Taylor Nature Center, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to promoting education, enjoyment, and protection of the Cachuma Lake area.
Great Odds
The Fish Derby includes cash prize categories for multiple types of fish such as crappie, bass, catfish, trout and carp. Everyone has a chance to win door prizes, raffle prizes, fishing gear, and more!
